NAND flash memory is a certain type of non-volatile computer memory which does not require any power in order to store data. As technology developers work to decrease the size and price of NAND flash memory whilst increasing the capacity as well as the read-write cycles, this memory solution becomes an ever more popular method to store data. It is now used within traditional cell phones, digital cameras, notebook computers and USB storage devices, as well as the smartphones and tablets which now dominate the industry. Its reliability is the next step in digital data storage and experts predict the market will continue to steadily grow for the foreseeable future.
